Introduction to Problem Of War and Peace

The Problem Of War and Peace : Essay, Speech, Article : The problem of war and peace is concepts trapped inside a cycle, under the influence of a high force which’s hard to overcome within just a few months or years. Overcoming this would mean a MIRACLE. Peace, no war and War, no peace. The first part of the sentence would mean, let us make peace by avoiding war and the second part would mean, let us make peace with continuous war. It is seen that the second case is more prevalent in the present world. Some countries are trying to achieve peace while the others are opposing their ways of achieving it and this leading to war. In this way, their only way of achieving peace is through war. Every country is continuously trying to prove itself more powerful. This power is demonstrated through their military and weapons.

THE PROBLEM OF WAR AND PEACE

THE PROBLEM OF WAR AND PEACE

In the process of having a peace agreement or making peace a global phenomenon, the peacemakers face a high tension from those who oppose their ideas of peace. They often become vulnerable to their opposition and become victims of war and defeat. Citizens of those initiating the idea of peace experience subtle changes in security and certainty. At some points, they are highly insecure and uncertain and at other times, they experience comparatively lower insecurity and uncertainty. This means they do face insecurity and uncertainty at all times in the process of making peace.

The emergence of war of peace is the most common form of war experienced worldwide. With various ideas of what is peace, war is often the result of bearing different ideas of achieving peace and harmony across the globe.

It is seen that, at many times, war is a glorified concept. Preparing all through the years to protect your country or to attack someone else’s country. The worst is getting ready to take revenge for something the other country had done previously at some time. The soldiers are leaving their families behind in some remote place and going to the field just to protect the nation by sacrificing their own life. All this seems fancy when we come across articles and posts based on the same on social media. But, we as individual nations forget that we could live in harmony by protecting and sustaining all the resources we are endowed with, through collective efforts. Rather than continuously preparing for an attack or to attack, countries can work towards their own development in their own ways using their own resources instead of intervening in other’s business and trying to prove something to the rest of the world. This will be regarded as the most responsible way of dealing with the issue of war and obtaining peace. The war based on religion is a highly effective destruction in the present world. Groups of peoples from a particular religion are formed only because they feel that they are seen as inferior. Whatever said and done, these are groups of people who are continuously working towards destroying the entire world sparing their own religion.

To end it all with a quote by Bernard Sanders who is seen as a prospective leader in the USA and I abide by these words.

“We live in a difficult and dangerous world, and there are no easy or magical solutions. As president and commander-in-chief, I will defend this nation, its people, and America’s vital strategic interests, but I will do it responsibly. America must defend freedom at home and abroad, but we must seek diplomatic solutions before resorting to military action. While force must always be an option, war must be a last resort, not the first option.”
