The rakhis and the sweets are bought and arranged usually prior to the Purnima. As per the ritual the family members get geared up for the rituals before time. They take a shower to cleanse their mind and body before starting any arrangements. The rituals may fluctuate to a small amount from region to region but normally carry the same sensation.
