No, neither I am a teacher nor a sponsor of any college, but lately as a student I have been observing and letting myself adjust with the fact that attending lectures is really a good thing! Again, don’t think this article to be a philosophical one but here I present you eight super reasons why attending lectures is good for the students. Check it by yourself!

#1 The Course
As funny as it sounds, but it is generally found that students don’t really know what they need to study i.e what the course is! But if you attend the lectures that problem will be solved in real time! You might just become famous during the exams days when others would call you to know what they need to study!
#2 Making Memories
If you do attend the lectures, you will probably make some good friends. The reasons can be many like disliking the same professor, having the same interest as your friends, pranks and much more. These attended lectures will give you some unforgettable memories when it will be the time to leave college. Thus, take lectures as building memories.
#3 Seeing Your Crush
It is nearly impossible to survive the college without having a look of your crush. He/she might notice you only if you come regularly to the class! And you may save yourself from friend-zoning yourself. And what better life you could expect from seeing your crush regularly for continuous hours if you attend the lectures!
#4 Actually Understanding The Subject
Now that you already have some strong reasons to attend the lectures, it is likely that you might start making sense out of the words the professor speaks. The once “what is the professor speaking” might turn into ” oh, he is actually right with the concept”. And you know how beneficial it is going to be during exams.

The bookworms are generally the ones which are there to impress the teachers with their book-ish knowledge. #6 Getting yourself to pass the exams
With the problem of attendance, half of the genius students are left apart from the examination hall. But if you really do attend the classes, the biggest terror of not being permitted to attend the exams will vanish! You might actually score well if you have attended the classes that too with your Own Notes!
#7 No Bribing to the Bookworms
If you were on of the regular bunkers you know the struggle of getting the notes from the toppers or the girls of your class. But if you attend the lectures, you are in a two-way profit-first, to save your time and money by not bribing the students having notes, etc. and secondly – becoming the one who gets bribed to share your notes!

No teacher wants his/her student to attend class just for the sake of attending and listening to them forcefully. Teachers are the nurturers of the coming future and you will get to know a thousand different things from them if you listen to them carefully. Eventually you will start admiring your teachers as your mentors.
As a student I suggest you to keep your attendance about 75 % then bunk the lectures . Bunking the lectures have also some fun and its own enjoyment but as said ” Excess of anything is bad ” excess in bunking class will harm your study and grades.
