ABOUT DIPLOMA IN NURSERY TEACHER TRAINING (NTT)
The course aims at equipping the trainees with the required skills and qualities which are necessary when interacting with the kids in classes such as nursery, Montessori, pre primary etc. These are the beginning years of the children lives and it is the first time they have moved away from their parents and home so the teacher has to handle them with a lot of patience and care and has to play the roles of a parent, friend and a teacher simultaneously. This course trains the candidates for all such situations by giving them an insight about child psychology so that they can deliver their best as a teacher.
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA AND DURATION of DIPLOMA IN NTT
Anyone interested in doing this course should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board or should hold any qualification equivalent to 10+2 with at least 50% marks. Further 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students. The marks for admission may vary from institute to institute.
The various institutions have their own method of selection like entrance exam plus interview or direct interview etc.
The course is of 1 year duration in which it covers various theoretical and practical aspects.
